Im beyond happy that I changed my parakeets diet to this food. One of my birds was having problems with its cere being crusty and inflamed. And it seemed to never heal well. When I switched my parakeets to Harrisons high-potency super fine food, all the issues gradually went away. The birds have high energy, chirp all day long and look healthy! So glad I found it! Best food ever!!!
I have been feeding this to my parakeets for 4 years now and they love it!! I had very little problem getting them to start eating it after living on seeds from both the store I bought them from and when I first got them. Even today I can put a little seed mixture in the cage as a treat. They go back and forth eating both. Love this stuff. My guys do too! Its stored in the fridge so when it is time for them to eat they let me know every time I open the fridge!!!

Birds love this!
For my seed loving parakeets I took your suggestion in placing the Harrisons food into the little tub with a mirror. After a few days of doing this I noticed the parakeets really took to eating from this dish but would not eat the Harrisons food from their regular clear seed dishes. I then had the idea to place mirrors above the clear seed dishes and they began eating Harrisons from those with no problem. Within a week - my usually very finicky parakeets were eating Harrisons High Potency Super-Fine and they didnt miss their seed. I have very little food waste.
Healthy, Active Society Finches!
I have been feeding my society finches Harrisons High Potency Super-Fine and High Potency Mash exclusively for almost two years. I no longer need to worry if they are receiving a complete, well-balanced diet, as nutritional balance is in every bite. After a few weeks of slow conversion from seeds, they LOVE the Harrisons. Already these little guys have out-lived their seed diet-only predecessors.
